Parents and the school

We aim to keep parents fully informed about the work of the school and pupils. Meetings are held periodically in school to give parents insights into the various aspects of the school curriculum and educational development.

Uniform (Primary School)

Parents have to send children wearing a black uniform to school. Boys wear a blue ribbon on the uniform. Girls wear a pink ribbon on the uniform.

Technology

At Istituto Comprensivo 'Vannini Lazzaretti ' we provide a technology quite rich environment for our students. Our school is networked, and students have access to multimedia computers, digital cameras, scanners and printers, as well as the Internet and e-mail .The focus in our school is on the integration of technology across all learning areas, where learning technologies are used routinely as another tool to enhance the learning experience. Our students are actively engaged in the construction of multimedia, and Internet based collaborative projects. These activities enable the students to become creators rather than passive users of technology.

Religious education and Alternative activities

Catholic Religion education takes place in each class for 2 hours a week. Children who aren't Catholic can choose another activity called "Alternative activities": we encourage these children to talk about themselves and others and to take an interest in the school and their multicultural community.
